On this site, nothing makes decisions about you automatically. We don’t sell your information. You can take back your consent whenever you like, and it won’t affect anything we did before.

Who we share it with

A few trusted suppliers help us run the site. They only act on our instructions.

  • HubSpot stores your sign-up details and sends our emails. If you accept cookies, it also records your visits and gives us usage statistics.

  • Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies, gives us usage statistics.

  • Framer hosts our website. It also gives us basic visit counts without cookies.

  • Mortgage Force (UK) Ltd, the FCA-authorised firm we operate under. We may need to share your details with it for regulatory and compliance checks. It handles them under its own privacy notice.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, and with regulators, police or courts if the law says we must.

Where your information goes

HubSpot stores your sign-up details mainly in Germany, in the EU. Some information may still be handled elsewhere, including the US, by HubSpot, Framer, Google and their service providers. When that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK and EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Ask us if you’d like more detail.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and marketing choice until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Once a year we tidy the list and remove anyone who’s gone quiet. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a “do not email” list so we don’t contact you again by mistake. We keep records of your consent for as long as we need them to show we followed the rules. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Cookies

Essential cookies make the site work, and they don’t need your consent. Everything else only runs if you say yes in our cookie banner. You can change your mind any time using the cookie settings banner on our web pages.

Changes and contact

This notice covers our coming-soon site only. When Borro launches, we’ll publish a fuller one explaining how we handle your information when you create an account, and we’ll email you about it. We won’t use what you give us now for anything new without telling you first and, where the law requires it, asking you again.
